Retro style Blue and Pastel Jacket

£150.00

For many years I’ve had vintage clothing pattern floating around in my old studio. I have no idea where it came from or what the finished garment is supposed to look like. No instructions, just paper and hope.

A local vintage store had some 70’s cotton bedsheets and this caught my eye and I knew it was the perfect choice for this pattern.

Going with my gut and my ability, this jacket formed, unsure of its identity I added the pale pink cuffs and waist, incorporated a button up band with coordinated detailing.

For a while it stood and pondered until one morning like a flash of lightning I saw already made lilac faux fur hanging up abandoned from a previous project and I knew they were destined to be together.

What a combination they make, it fills me with so much joy to look at

Definite one of a kind
